(Mom) Nora Granger

Mom on the other hand was a no-nonsense, stern, serious person. She said children had to be taught not spoiled. Nora (Mom) was a talented woman and was not afraid to try anything. She built furniture for the yard, and made cement frogs with molds. She loved music and whenever we were all at her house for a bar-b-cue she’d bring out her harmonica and play and dance all over the yard with all the children dancing behind her like the Pied Piper.

The more I hear about Mom, the more I learn that I have many of her traits. I remember those cement frogs at Granny's and how I always loved them. They were the inspiration for my frog collection.
